Be careful of different rules.

Rule variance seems to be the main trouble with Texas 42.

This app works great. I bought it to hone my skills before playing my family at Christmas. They are all hardcore 42 players and take it very serious. Its a lot of fun.

But when I went to play Low, or Nello as its called on this app, there was a big difference. When my family plays, doubles are a suit of their own, but not on this app. This difference kind of ruins this app for me, as going Low is one of the funnest parts of 42 to me. I was looking forward to telling them all about it so we could play each other all year, but oh well.

Other than that the rules are spot on.

So be wary!
